Energy Management System

A). EnMS ISO 50001-: ISO 50001 serves as the worldwide standard which establishes requirements needed to create an Energy Management System (EnMS). The standard provides organizations with an operational framework which enables them to create energy performance improvement policies and processes and practices for their operations.

The standard applies to all organizations because it provides a structured approach which helps them decrease energy consumption while achieving cost savings and minimizing environmental damage.

Accreditations

A). The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories serves as the sole government body which grants testing and calibration laboratory accreditation throughout India.

  • ISO/IEC 17025 establishes an international standard which testing and calibration laboratories must follow to display their operational competence and unbiased testing procedures and their ability to deliver precise results consistently.
    The single most important standard which laboratories must follow establishes their technical abilities to produce precise and accurate test results together with reliable test data and calibration data.

  • ISO 15189 establishes international standards which describe the quality and competence requirements for medical laboratories. The standard serves as the primary reference point for pathology laboratories and blood banks and all other medical facilities that analyze human biological specimens to determine their suitability for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

B). NABH -: NABH is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI). Established in 2005, its core mission is to enhance the quality and safety of healthcare services across India by promoting ethical, patient-cantered, and evidence-based practices.

The standards developed by NABH are internationally recognized and accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), placing Indian healthcare on the global quality map.
